Studio Gear Cosmetics Holiday Smokey Eye Palette

Let's open and look what's inside...

Inside the palette includes a how to guide along with photos!

This palette includes 4 beautiful eye shades plus 1 blush color.

Swatches:
1)Platinum - White Shimmer Frost (eyeshadow)
2)Coal - Silvery Shimmer Frost (eyeshadow)
3)Frost - Dark Charcoal greyish black with Shimmer (eyeshadow)
4)Glimmer - Golden Shimmer (eyeshadow) *least favorite shade*
5)Snowy Glow - Peachy Pink Satin Finish (blusher) *My favorite out of the palette*

Pros: Inexpensive for an entire palette. Blush shade is gorgeous. Travel friendly.

Cons: Pigmentation. Some fall outs.

Price: $25

Promo Code: 10% OFF w/ "SGHOLIDAY" (code does not expire)

Where to buy: http://studiogearcosmetics.com/shop/eye-make-up/holiday-smokey-eye-palette/

Overall: This holiday palette is great for anyone who likes simple choices for an easy day to night makeup look. There was some fall out since the shades were mostly all shimmery. Pigmentation wasn't my favorite but with a primer underneath, I think it will definitely apply smoothly. Very impressed by the blusher shade. Definitely my type of color and very pigmented. The slim sized packaging makes it fit perfectly into a travel makeup bag. $25 for 4 full sized shadows and a blush shade won't break your wallet. Great gift idea for any makeup/beauty lovers out there!

Review: Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo

My thoughts:

This is my first bottle of Not Your Mother's brand products. Always heard so many great reviews but since I'm not a huge hair junkie, I have not really invested into many hair styling products. This was a great way to try it out and give me that push to buying it next time. I love me some dry shampoo! As a mom, sometimes you just have those busy moments when you gotta rush out the door with fab hair but no time for a quick wash. This is when Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo comes to the rescue. Smells so fresh and crisp! Absorbs all the excess oils in your hair and leaves a nice matte finish.

I received a nice 1.6 oz travel size bottle which is perfect to pop into my purse, travel bag or even gym bag. The original size is 7oz for about $5.99. Not a bad price for the amount of product you will get. ULTA is currently running a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale online plus a free gift with purchase. Go check it out!

What's your go to product from Not Your Mother's brand?

Influenster: Violet Vox Box

What's in the box?

1. Goody Athletique Headband - $6.00
2. Sally Hansen New Triple Shine Nail Color #240 Play Koi - $4.99
3. SOYJOY Dark Chocolate Cherry - $0.99
4. Montagne Jeunesse Clay Spas - $2.49
5. Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo - $5.99

My thoughts?

I was super ecstatic when I saw the Goody Headband in my box! Since I am a huge gym rat and always wear headbands when working out, this was definitely one of my favorites out of the entire box. Love how it is reversible and keeps your head dry. Only thing missing is a nice non slip grip on it. That would have made this just purrrrfect! :)

The nail polish was nice to add to my collection. Sally Hansen is one of my favorite drugstore polish brands that I currently use. I noticed this was a new collection they just came out with. Sort of wished I received one of the glitter shades instead of this reddish orange one. Regardless this shade is always going to be a beauty in my nail kit.

Another favorite was the Refreshing Dry Shampoo from Not Your Mother's brand. Never tried any products from this brand and all my friends have raved about them! What a great way to try it out. Gotta love dry shampoo's on those dirty haired days when you have no time and need a quick water-less rinse! Smells "refreshing" like it is mentioned on the bottle.

Did you receive the Violet Vox Box? What was your favorite item out of this box?

Influenster: Suave Family Vox Box

Influenster has sent another awesome box of goodies! The Suave Family Vox Box has products for every member of the family. Can we say perfection and happiness for all of us? It's a Win Win situation!

What's in the box?

1. Suave Kids "The Smurfs" Styling Gel in Cool Ocean Blast- Alcohol-Free, Residue-Free, Dye-Free, Dermatologist Tested.

2. Suave Professionals Styling Paste in Medium Hold/Matte Finish

3. Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo

My thoughts:

Loved the products that were picked out for my box. We personally use Suave Professionals products in our household so this was just perfect! My son enjoys styling his wavy hair with this yummy smelling gel. He got so excited when he saw The Smurfs labeled on the bottle. One of his favorite movies...

My husband on the other hand, really enjoyed using the styling paste as well. It's rare he uses styling products on a daily basis but when we have date nights, he will grab this little jar and get fancy with it. I sort of wanted to play with it myself but who has time for all that? haha

The dry shampoo was obviously for me and my favorite out of the 3. I am a sucker for dry shampoo! I have tried all kinds and this is definitely one of my new found favorites. Formulated with KERALOCKª TECHNOLOGY, it contains keratin to help refresh your hair, extend your blowouts, and revive volume. It smells amazing and works like a dream. Best part of it all is... it's Suave Professionals. Meaning it won't rob you and be so kind to your wallet. Who doesn't have those dirty hair days when you gotta hurry and spray some dry shampoo and run out the house? This is going to save your life. Huge bottle for such a fraction of a price. $2.88 on Walmart.com. If you ask me, that's a steal for 5oz bottle of heaven. :)

Do you currently use any Suave Hair Products? If so, what's your favorite?
