My thoughts:

Love... Love... Love... this product so much! When I saw *exfoliator* on the packaging I knew it would be love at first sight. This product definitely works magic. I've been using it for over 2 months about twice a week and notice the texture of my skin a lot smoother. Call this little blue tube a home version of microdermabrasion. It will literally exfoliate all your dead skin cells and get deep into your pores to cleanse it all off. You will notice a difference immediately! With all the makeup I wear during workdays, I am always dying for a deep pore refining treatment. This works so great in the shower when your pores are nice and wide open. I guarantee you that your skin feel renewed and smooth like a babies butt. The texture is a bit on the grittier side so anyone who has sensitive and delicate skin might need to be a little more careful when using the product. It is safe since it was made for all skin types. Overall, I am satisfied with the results and will continue to use this weekly. Very impressed with Dr. Brandt products as this is my first time trying anything from the line. Will probably look into other products and try them out as well. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a pore minimizing makeover.

My thoughts...

So when I first read "pore refiner" and "retinol"... all I could think was yes and yes! As you age, your skin does not repair itself as quickly as you imagine. With that being said, you have to be extra cautious of how you take care of it and your daily regimen. I've always been great with my skin care regimen since I was a teen. Thanks to my wonderful mom who taught me early. Lately, my skin has taken a toll on me and I've been desperate for a skin renewal turn around. With all this hormonal acne I go through monthly, I have ton of acne scars and pores that are extremely visible. This product really gave me hope that it could make a difference...

Any skin care product that's intensive like this will take time in order to see results. I've used mine for about 8 weeks and counting off and on. I try my best to always add it into my regimen but I like to switch around and use different products daily. This is definitely my favorite to use under makeup due to its mattifying effect. It really smooths out my skin and gives it a nice texture prior to applying any base makeup. The product is light yet moisturizing but not greasy. I have yet to see a dramatic decrease in the size of my pores but I can visibly see a slight difference each application. Hey, that's a start... something is working and I am not complaining. Ultimately I am pleased with the fact that their products are all suitable for all skin types, non-comedogenic and free of parabens and sulfates. Every one of their formulas are proven to work and backed up by clinical research. That is proof that it will transform your skin regardless you like it or not. Highly recommend this for anyone in dying need of a great pore minimizing product that also works as a makeup primer. I will definitely continue to use this and hope to see shrinkage in my pores. Bye Bye Pores!!!

So I was lucky enough to be able to try out this new revolutionary skin care device! I currently use a Clarisonic Mia so this device was definitely going to be a challenge. Love comparing products that are both highly rated. :)

What is Foreo Luna?

My thoughts on this...

I was really impressed with this little handheld gadget. First of all, I compare the value and price point compared to other devices (exp: Clarisonic). This will definitely save you money in the long run due to no replacements. It is backed up by a 2 year Limited Year Warranty and 10 Year Quality Warranty. That sounds like a safe situation when it comes to having issues. Since there are no *brush heads* involved... you will pay the one time price of $199 and that is final. It makes me think twice about my Clarisonic when it comes to the cost of all those replacement heads now. *sigh* This is known to be more gentle so it's perfect for sensitive skin as well. I love that is waterproof and I can use this while I am taking a shower. The compact size makes it easy to carry around for traveling and the battery life is incredible. It lasts for up to 7 months for a 450 full cleansing and anti-aging routines from a single charge. BRILLIANT! Who has time to charge things all day anyway?

Only thing I can say I disliked about this was that the shape of the device made it hard to reach over and under my eyes. Which means I have to give it a nice rub in those areas with my fingertips regardless. Other than that, I am pretty sold on this little beauty and so many of my makeup artist/beauty junkie buddies are already hooked on this! Highly recommend this for anyone in search of a great cleansing device that can also make you look and feel younger again.

Review: 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander GT

Greetings my lovelies! Long time no posts... *shrugs* I know it's been a minute. This post is actually a bit overdue but due to some missing photos from my phone being broken etc. I've decided to recover a few and give my honest review now. There will be some stock photos in this post. :)

So I got another amazing opportunity with Mitsubishi to test drive one of the best SUV's in their class... the Outlander GT! Hooray! All I could think was " 3rd row 3rd row 3rd row... ". Having a big family and 3 kids, it's very necessary to have a spacious car with extra room for more people. I am all about 3rd row vehicles because it is so convenient yet you can still store it away for extra room in the back. You can almost fool somebody and tell them you only have enough room for so much... ha! Ok, on to the fun details...

I got mine in a beautiful snowy white color in the standard basic GT model. The Outlander comes in 4 different models (ES 2WD, SE 2WD, SE S-AWC, and GT S-AWC). The GT model is a 240 Horsepower, Super All Wheel Control (S- AWC) 3.0 Liter V-6 Engine, 6 speed automatic transmission with steering wheel paddle shifters. Loved the FAST-key passive entry system with push button on/off engine switch. Makes it easier for moms to hop in the car and start without digging through your massive purse looking for those keys! I know this is a common struggle with everyday people so why is every car not made that way? Makes me wonder... on to some photos!

Compared to the Outlander Sport I drove, I am shocked to see there is not a huge price gap between the two. I say this is made for anyone who needs more room! It was not intimidating to drive for being a 3rd row SUV, which are normally very large in size. Really enjoyed the ride so much and my kids loved it the most. The model was obviously the standard model out of the GT but you can always add premium options to amp it up to suit your luxury needs. The car was ranked #1 on Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com "5-Year Cost to Own" list for the Mid-Size SUV/Crossover segment. That pretty much won me over. Good info to know! Not the best fuel efficiency car in the market but not the worst either. It was a great experience once again with Mitsubishi. I would definitely consider looking into one of these in the near future.



My last moment with this awesome car at the market... do not want to say goodbye... kind of sad.

I decided to take this car on our family trip to Six Flags Over Texas. With this car having a V-6 engine with 295 horsepower, the drive was so smooth and fast like a sports car, yet I still felt very safe. Almost forgot I was sitting inside a midsize sedan. Having the navigation on that huge 8.4" touchscreen really made it easier for me to find my way around. This car saved my families life that evening. The weather decided to flip out on us and got super cold all of sudden. Having that Smart Remote Start option got the car heated up perfectly just in time we got inside. I couldn't be more thankful for the heated steering wheel! Kept my frozen fingers nice and toasty. These luxury options really came in handy and I feel that every car should include them as well.

Overall, I fell in love with this car so much more than I thought I would from the beginning. Sadly, I only had it for less than a week so didn't get to take full advantage of it. The options are endless in this car and great for anyone who are all about premium details with a sporty performance. Great fuel economy midsize sedan for singles or even larger families. Our family of 5 fit perfectly into this spacious sedan. This experience definitely got me giving Chrysler a second chance again... Kudos to them! Overall, I had an amazing one week adventure with this vehicle and highly recommend it to anyone in need of a fuel efficient car that's not too big but spacious at the same time. Preferably I would need a bigger vehicle for the amount of heads in my household but this wasn't bad for us either. The drive was smooth sailing and the options blew my mind. Felt a little *fancy* in my Outlander Sport. Go out and test drive a Mitsubishi and see for yourself! Experience is everything!

Review: Beautisol Exscrub Me Citrus Face Exfoliant

It's scrub-a-dub review time! This one in particular is by a brand called Beautisol founded by Sinead Norenius, a fellow beauty blogger and licensed aethetician. She is well known for her Beautisol Self Tanning products featured on HSN.com. Who doesn't love that fake and bake glow!

Excrub Me is a citrus face exfoliant made to give your skin that squeaky deep cleansed, polished finish by removing dead skin cells and eradicating impurities. It is infused with certified organic orange peel, lemon, and grapefruit extracts. Best part of it all, it's paraben-free, sodium laurel/laureth sulphate free, vegan and cruelty free (PETA certified)!




As you can see in the picture above, a pea size amount is all you need to cover your entire face. The scrub is all white with tiny red jojoba beads that helps remove dead skin cells. Feels a bit gritty and like a micro exfoliant type of texture. Not really used to applying this type of exfoliant so it was a little weird at first... then I got used to it after the second time.

Not sure if I recommend this for sensitive skin types because of the texture. Might be a little bit rough and harsh on the skin perhaps? I could be wrong but just from my own personal experience I felt that it was not the most gentle feel on the skin. Normally, I would use my St. Ives Apricot Scrub or a Vitamin C scrub that feels creamy with exfoliating beads. It definitely feels amazing after you rinse off since all your dead skin cells have washed away! Hooray for clean exfoliated skin! Personally, I wouldn't say this is my favorite or the best I have tried but it does what it says it's supposed to do. That's what is important right? :)

Directions: Dampen skin and apply a small amount of Exscrub Me to fingertips, then massage onto face in circular motions. Rinse well with warm water and pat dry.

My personal experience:

Smells oh so beautiful and soothing. The scent was a bit of citrus mixed with rosy floral but not overpowering. My hands just smells so amazing once I apply this on. This is a non greasy formula yet stays very hydrated and replenishes your dry cracked skin. I wash my hands probably 100 times day and let me tell you, it is not very pretty. As you may know shea butter is an essential ingredient that helps nourish and protect your skin so it is so important to be included in the hand creams I choose. It does my skin good... very good! Very impressed with the quality of this product and definitely would buy this again once I run out. Perlier also carries varieties of other luxury bath and body products that would make a perfect gift item for those you love! Can't wait to try their other products.

Pure Silk Raspberry Mist Shave Cream

Just wanted to share a quick review of Pure Silk's Raspberry Mist Shave Cream. This was part of the Influenster Vow Vox Box I received a few months ago. I never tried the brand and always use shave creams so this was a fun experience. First of all, when I read raspberry on the can I just imagined a yummy scented product. Yep, it smelled divine and felt like a fluffy whipped cream without the cherry on top. Loved how it felt against my skin and left a soft finish afterwards. Super moisturizing and gentle on the skin.

Hask provides four colletions that suits your hair needs. Keratin, Argan Oil, Macadamia Oil and Monol Oil. I was sent the entire set of Keratin and Argan Oil hair products. Came inside a cute little plastic caddy that I can use to store them into. Those are always handy to keep around! As you may know both Keratin and Argan Oil are key essentials to keep your hair protected, restored, and repaired! The highlight of this brand is that they are made free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, alcohol, and artificial colors. You know it's legit when all that junk is not mixed in.



The Keratin line is meant to help soften and renew your damaged hair. Best for dry and color treated hair. It will give your dull hair that radiant shine you'd never seen before. The scent is divine! Imagine a tropical fruit basket scent lingering on your hair.... mmmmmm. I knew by the scent of this product that I would immediately fall in love with the results. I used the smoothing shine oil after towel drying my hair while it was still damp. Leave your hair silky, shiny and restored! Deep conditioner I recommend using 1-2x a week, switching with your regular conditioner.


The Argan Oil also known as "liquid gold" is infused with Moroccan Argan Oil and meant to help strengthen and restore damaged hair. Got frizzy hair? This magic in a bottle will turn your hair around from fuzzy to fancy! Very similar to what the Keratin offers, it will give deeply moisturize your hair and protect it from future breakage and damages. Not a shocking surprise, this also smells very delicious and extremely addicting scent. I am all about scents because when you have good smelling hair, that's the end of story. Loved the way my hair felt silky smooth after I air dried it. You can definitely tell the difference when this is being used and not. It's like the difference of having a good or bad hair day. Big deal!


Both the products can be found at your local drugstore, supermarket (Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Harris Teeter, Rite Aid, Shop Rite, Kmart, Drug Mart, Family Dollar). This is priced around $4.77 for a 12oz shampoo & conditioner on Walmart.com. I am sure the price varies within store to store but I am assuming it is around $4-5 a bottle. Considering the brand being free of bad ingredients and only provide the best for your hair, this is fairly cheap! I highly recommend it.
