Review: Geo Bambi -Princess Mimi lens Green Apple

Hello my lovelies! I been long over due w/ this review. I almost don't remember when I even got these lenses actually LOL ( it was sometime in July ). I ordered mine from HoneyColor.com

They were having a sale on the Bambi series plus an additional 10% off w/ promo code! It couldn't have been more PERFECT TIMING to get it. Gotta grab it on a deal right? Also, Honeycolor was definitely the cheapest rate out of most circle lens website I looked on the web.

$19.90 + 10% off (-1.99) + $6 shipping + Free animal lens case = $23.91 total
I can live w/ that!!! ^_____^

They shipped out it pretty quick and I received it within 2 weeks I believe. Not too bad. Although I had to go pick it up at the post office since it was registered mail. I loved the packaging! They securely wrapped the lens bottle inside a nice honeycolor box and that was inside another cardboard box. No damages here :)













These lenses are 15.0 mm in diameter. Extra Large lens compared to the standard 14.0 mm lens. At first, I was worried about the lens being so huge... thinking it would not fit my small Asian eyes. Luckily, I have many friends who has previously purchased the same lens and told me they fit perfectly and very comfortable on the eyes. So I took that as a YES and ordered it. They fit great but I do hate how circle lens tend to dry your eyes out after hours of long wear. Just a note, I am not a normal contact lens wearer. My eyes aren't so 20/20 perfect anymore =( but I can see fine w/o prescription lenses. I highly recommend carrying a small bottle of re-wetting drops or eye drops for contacts in your purse when you wear these lens.

Overall I love them and received tons of compliments every time I wear them! The green really looks subtle and enlarges my eye for that dolly eye effect. One of my favorite circle lens! I want to try the sesame grey one next.

Sunglasses... I want you!

I have been *eyeing* these Tom Ford shades for about over a year now. Also... my Roberto Cavalli shades went missing a month ago and it's killing me! I am definitely needing a replacement for that one now so I can get over it and be happy. Sadly, I don't have a teeny face so it's not the best sunglass friendly shape. Trying to find the PERFECT shades that suits my face shape is quite stressful actually. Oh.. not only is it the face shape issue... I also have the nose bridge situation. Being Asian and having a flatter facial structure and a "not so tall" nose bridge.. it is extremely stressful. I always look for shades that has the nose piece because it'll actually stay put. Gucci plastic framed glasses never worked w/ me due to it not coming w/ a nose piece. boo :( Also, the frame of the glasses has to be wide ( like my face lol ) so I def prefer big, wide, angled glasses. Those are the best! So with that being said... I found my perfect shades! HELLO TOM FORD MIRANDA'S!

When I tried these on at Nordstrom's I just fell in LOVE! It was one of those " Omg its just perfect and soooo me! " moments... lol Especially when most shades don't fit or look right and you finally~ find the right one.. it's definitely a OMG moment. Don't you agree? ^__^

It is so classy, chic and sexy! The rose gold color just blows me away. Only problem left is how I will justify this price tag of $395... OUCH! *sigh* I have been searching all day on google and came across some sellers on amazon for way cheaper. Only problem is, I have trust issues w/ the item being authentic if it is that cheap. They do mention it is 100% authentic or money back etc. That does make it a little more easier to believe it is real. What are your thoughts?

Newly launched Eyeko website!

As you may know... their famous Big eyes mascara was my "Holy Grail" product. Now that it is gone... I am on a mission to find a replacement. The company has mentioned how their new and improved mascara line will be better than ever! It comes in 3 different brush types CURVY, FAT, and SKINNY. I believe the formula in the CURVY & FAT are similar and the SKINNY is just like the BIG EYES but better. If you look at the photos below, notice the curvy mascara brush wand is similar to Fairy Drops mascara and Rimmel sexy curves mascara. Shea Butter & Keratin formula is supposed to boost your curls and condition them. Sounds good to me! They also included two eyeliners in the collection, One liquid ( like the graffiti eye liner pen ), and one skinny auto pencil. I have to admit that I am not pleased with the price increase but when it comes to the mascara... it's worth every penny because it truly does miracles! Let's hope this new version of mascara's are what they say.. "your perfect MASCARA or your MONEY BACK!" - Love that guarantee!
